Terms and Conditions

The promoter is Direct Produce Supplies Limited (DPS), company number 01336601, trading as WICKS FARM of 57 Church Road, Wimbledon, SW19 5SB, UK. Our website is www.dpsltd.com.
By participating in the competition you confirm you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
Participation in the competition is restricted to those over 18 years of age who have purchased a punnet of strawberries from a Tesco store and who are not currently employed by Tesco, DPS or affiliates.
Your personal information will be used in accordance with data protection legislation and our privacy terms and conditions.
The competition period runs between BST on June 16th 12:00am to July 30th 10:00am inclusive (“Promotion Period”)..
To enter the competition, you must complete all the following stages:

Purchase strawberries from Tesco
Go to the Wicks Farm website
Pick a strawberry in the ‘Pick a Strawberry’ competition
1. Submit your contact details and enter the competition via the supplied form
2. By submitting an entry, each entrant grants to the Promoter a non-revocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the copyright and other intellectual property rights vesting in their entry for all purposes connected with this Promotion, including but not limited to display on the Promoter’s website and any other website of the Promoter or its agent’s/contractor’s choosing and use of the entry, or part(s) of the entry, in any marketing materials or communications relating to this Promotion. Entrants hereby represent and warrant that they have all rights necessary to grant the licence and rights provided for in this paragraph and that all materials forming part of their entry to this Promotion, and any use of such materials by or on behalf of the Promoter, comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations and do not infringe or otherwise violate the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.The prizes

The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason any element of a Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute another prize for it, of equal or greater value.
In the event that the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions and to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries.
The winner must provide a valid phone number to be contactable in order to confirm the prize.
The winner will be contacted up to 3 times to claim the prize and if there is no response after 5 days or no valid phone number is provided within that period, another draw will be taken to select a different winner.

Wimbledon Tickets

The winner will receive 2 tickets to Wimbledon 2022 for the Wimbledon No1 court. Men’s Doubles Semi-finals or event at equivalent value.
The winner has up to 12 weeks before the event to supply details of the ticket holders and after this confirmation, the names and details of the ticket holders cannot be changed.
Where possible, tickets will be dispatched to the customer prior to the event date. When it is not possible to dispatch all relevant documentation relating to the package to the customer prior to the event for any reason, the tickets will be available for collection by the customer at an agreed location on the event date.
Your tickets are STRICTLY NON-TRANSFERABLE and must not be sold, transferred or advertised for sale or transfer whether on the internet, in newspapers or elsewhere. Any tickets which are transferred, advertised or offered for sale or transfer will be void.
If there is no play or play is curtailed there will be no refund of money – apart from when the ‘Cancellation of Play Due to Rain’ system comes into operation.

£100 Tesco gift card

You can use your e-gift card to buy products at any UK Tesco store.
This e-gift card can’t be used to make purchases online on Tesco.com.
Treat your e-gift card like cash, lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.
You can check the available balance at any UK Tesco store or by calling 0345 0757 757 (charges may apply by calling this number).
The e-gift card and balance will expire five years from purchase or last card use.
Damaged, altered or cancelled cards will not be accepted.

Plant a tree experience

The winner will have a £50 donation placed in their name to the National Trust, allowing them to plant 10 tree saplings.
Once money has been donated, the winner will receive a confirmation email straight away.
Within five working days, the winner will receive a second email with a certificate attached.
The winner will not be able to choose where the tree is planted as trees are planted according to the areas in most need as identified by the woodland experts and regional countryside teams.
It is not possible for the winner to match dedications to specific trees or to ‘tag’ trees with memorial plaques.
Refunds are not available.

All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered into the competition.
The winners will be selected by a random prize draw for each prize – the prizes are awarded in accordance with the laws of chance and the winners will be selected by a computer process that produces verifiably random results, by an independent person, or under the supervision of an independent person.
In the event of an invalid submission being selected, the draw will be run again.

Each winner will be contacted by email and phone to confirm their win.
If the promoter can not contact the winner within 5 working days the promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner.
If the promoter manages to contact the winner within the 5 day period but the winner is non-responsive post this for a period of 5 days the promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner.
If a winner is disqualified, the promoter reserves the right to award the prize(s) to a reserve winner selected in the same manner. The reserve winner must respond in accordance with the above timeframes or a shorter period if notified by the promoter.
The prizes will be awarded within 30 days of the competition end date, with the exception of the Wimbledon tickets which will be awarded 12 weeks prior to the Wimbledon Event 2022.

The promoter reserves the right to reject entries which, in the reasonable opinion and sole discretion of the promoter:
a. are in breach of the Terms and Conditions
No responsibility can be taken for entries which are late, lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete, do not comply with entry criteria or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason.
If we fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaching these Terms and Conditions or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
The promoter may refuse to award a prize in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of its value if the prizes have been awarded.
In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material, the details in the Terms & Conditions will prevail.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
